Luna: from diagnostic to collections reconciled with every contract
A real-estate developer with collections spread across spreadsheets and people. A diagnostic first; then a collections and reconciliation system; and results you can count.
An operation spread across sheets and people
Luna is a real-estate developer. Its sales, contracts, collections, income and expenses lived in spreadsheets and in the memory of whoever kept them. Every month-end close depended on reconciling by hand.
Three stages, each earned by the one before
- 01
Diagnostic
Before building, we understood the operation: where each piece of data was entered, who validated it and where control of the money got lost.
- 02
Collections and reconciliation system
A management and collections system on top of the tools the company already used: income, expenses, finance and management, with seven roles and every payment tied to its contract.
- 03
Results
Every payment recorded against the right contract, with a receipt and a log, and a receivables ledger you look up instead of rebuilding every month.
449 payments matched to their contract
Of the 449 payments recorded in the system, 97.6% were matched to their contract automatically. The rest were reviewed by hand, with every correction logged.
We do not publish savings figures: there is no before-and-after measurement of hours we can stand behind yet. When there is, it will appear here with its source.
Diagnostic first, solution second
No stage was sold in advance: the diagnostic justified the system, and the system stands on a figure that can be verified. It is the same sequence we propose to every client.
